Ralph White's paintings explore the relationship between art and transformation. He feels that this is a necessary connection, albeit one that is perpetually in flux. In his studio, he surrounds himself with natural minerals which he feels exude a positive force, enabling him to bridge the gap between thought and creative response.

Each of his works compels the mind?s eye to redirect toward intentional action. The energy within the paintings is palpable, the possibilities freely exist.
